President Donald Trump said Monday that his proposal to send migrants to so-called sanctuary cities is taking effect.
Trump tweeted:
"Those Illegal Immigrants who can no longer be legally held (Congress must fix the laws and loopholes) will be, subject to Homeland Security, given to Sanctuary Cities and States!"
It was unclear, however, whether the Department of Homeland Security is taking any steps to implement the contentious plan.

SO to all of the Trump supporters who live in those Cities ,...you are welcome. We are Americans first , in this together . Why did not Congress fix the immigration law when it was all Republican? Please let me know . Seems like health care , no plan , just bad mouth it and repeal .
