Maryland Democrats are pushing rationing of rifle purchases, a 7-day waiting period on all gun purchases, and a licensing requirement for rifle and shotgun owners.
Leap Forward lists over 50 Democrats who are pushing HB 786, the legislation limiting the number of rifle purchases each month, enacting the waiting period, and putting the licensing requirement in place.
HB 786 also puts universal background checks in place for long guns and allows the Federal Firearms License holder performing the check to charge “a reasonable fee” for so doing. HB 786 is complemented by Democrat-sponsored SB 737, which focuses solely on a universal background check requirement for long guns.

We already have to do a background check for any and all guns we buy in MD... So clearly this is not what the bill is for...
Call your Politian and let them know how you feel. The ones on the Judiciary Committee will give you the run around that you are not in their District so call the ones representing you. I let them know they are representing me on every bill that effects me, also they are representing all Marylanders since the bills do not specify that it only effects their district but all of MD.

Just got back from there ALL the sheriff's are on board shame the MSP are going to be the enforcers ....which will pin Sheriffs and MSP against each other.
But they BOTH took the OATH who will bow down FIRST ?
