Some of the Senators who voted to stop the post-Labor Day start have previously SPONSORED legislation to start schools after Labor Day in the past - as recently as 2016. If that isn’t blatant, partisan hypocrisy, then I don’t know what is.

Who cares when they start?? The outcome will be the same. HS graduation rate at 60% along with 40% of 3rd graders can read. WOW. The department of education for Maryland is on FIRE. It is truly sad that even at the State level, Democrats seem to disregard the will of the majority of the people. In what seems to be total arrogance of we know better than the people is continuing to be demonstrated by their actions. My prayer continues to be that voters “wake up” and vote these people out of office.
