The House of Representatives passed a controversial measure Wednesday that would allow gun owners with concealed carry permits from one state to carry them in other jurisdictions.
The Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act, one of the National Rifle Association's top legislative priorities, passed in a largely party-line vote, 231-198, sending the measure to the Senate.

Should be a logical pass, yet nothing CONgress does makes sense or follows logic.
IF it passes and there becomes concerns by local states - CLOSE the loopholes! Come on states - do the job you were voted in to do! Don't cry/moan (MD) that it will take away a revenue generator used for many years by our LEOs.
Need to make that clean national database that has all the "necessary" info to see that Joe or Jane Smith from North Dakota have concealed carry. Likewise, states need to educate those who do carry to inform LEOs immediately that they have a weapon in their presence AND a concealed/carry.
Communication is key AND keeps everyone alive!
Hogan promised a lot an Marylanders got the shaft. Hogan cannot use the excuse Maryland has a Democrat Legislature that would oppose anything along these lines. Poor excuse Hogan, the Democrat, never introduced a bill to loosen the Laws or even the process for the right to carry. He is no better than the theft O'Malley. Can't understand why the Maryland Republicans can never put up a real conservative Republican instead of a hoax of a Republican for political office.
Yeah BABY. About TIME!!!
awesome ……….But this had to have passed under republicans not dems ?
Hogan is a rino POS.
RINO HOGAN HAS TO GO.
Already have this in Maryland. What loopholes are you talking about?
I would never tell law enforcement I was carrying, period.
5:03 MD already has what now? MD does not recognize other States concealed carry permits with the exception of Law Enforcement only. That is why MD is not recognized in other States.
