George Bush, 41st President, Dies at 94

George Bush, the 41st president of the United States and the father of the 43rd, who steered the nation through a tumultuous period in world affairs but was denied a second term after support for his presidency collapsed under the weight of an economic downturn and his seeming inattention to domestic affairs, died on Friday night at his home in Houston. He was 94.

His death, which was announced by his office, came less than eight months after that of his wife of 73 years, Barbara Bush.

Mr. Bush had a form of Parkinson’s disease that forced him to use a wheelchair or motorized scooter in recent years, and he had been in and out of hospitals during that time as his health declined. In April, a day after attending Mrs. Bush’s funeral, he was treated for an infection that had spread to his blood. In 2013, he was in dire enough shape with bronchitis that former President George W. Bush, his son, solicited ideas for a eulogy.

The first President to publicly utter the idea of a "New World Order" and original member of the CIA, many Americans believe this man to be the epitome of evil.

His failure to keep his word, “Read my lips, no new taxes!” , will alway ring in my ears. In fact, it drove me to support Pat Buchanan in the primary. However, that is not to say that he was not a good man, because he was. What it does say, that as a leader under tremendous pressure from the Democrat liberals he “caved”, and did not possess the strength and fortitude to stand by his decision , which ultimately cost him re-election.

Lets see if he gets all of the ceremonies that the Traitor John McCain got. This man was a real war hero, he never got captured!

As a man and veteran he's awesome. As president. Not so much. He won on PRESIDENT Reagan's shirt tails. Then like his son. Took care of all their buddies with military contracts. Good man. Poor PRESIDENT.
