Slick D'nesh. Didn't answer the question at all.
In fact, he strawmaned the questioned, and brought up irrelevant information in an attempt to ad hominem the person asking.
He portrayed the Democrats platform that is in direct conflict and is in opposition to their platform today.
Very sneaky, very slick, very dishonest, and very TELLING about his honesty and integrity.
I am not a liberal or a democrat, but I do not like D'nesh for these exact reasons. We are better than that and don't need to argue in such a way.
I'm sure it gets people riled up, and it sells books and tickets, but it's not very honest now is it?

I think he answered the question quite well.
The whole reason that the 3/5th compromise was made was because the DEMOCRATS would not accept that blacks should be free.

He also DECEPTIVELY left out that the parties platforms have basically switched since that time. The "democrats" of today would have been the "republicans" of then and visa versa.
He is playing with the labels.... and not properly representing the platform or position of today, and is distorting, on purpose, his opponents position. This is flagrant strawmanning of the worst kind.
