Gillum Rescinds Concession: ‘Many More Uncounted Ballots Than Was Originally Reported’

Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum (D.) conceded the Florida gubernatorial election Tuesday night, but his campaign is now rescinding that decision to allow more ballots to be counted.

With 99 percent of precincts reporting, the ballot returns show Republican Ron DeSantis leading by about 0.6 percent, a wider margin than the 0.5 percent required to trigger a recount, but Gillum’s campaign claims there are more outstanding ballots than Gillum realized when he conceded.

"On Tuesday night, the Gillum for Governor campaign operated with the best information available about the number of outstanding ballots left to count," Gillum campaign communication director Johanna Cervone said. "Since that time, it has become clear there are many more uncounted ballots than was originally reported."

Oh but wait, this election and the GA election were such a shalacking that they show Obama is terrible.......lol

This was a great election! Record turnout means Americans and stepping up to get their voices heard. Splitting Congress is a good thing because neither party holds a monopoly on good ideas. And these close elections will force leaders to be accountable to both sides of the political spectrum or risk losing their jobs pretty darn quickly.

BS, complete BS. Another one who cannot face facts that he lost. Now we're gonna go out and find lost boxes of votes that were not counted. As I said, complete BS.

The lunatic Democrats feel justified in doing whatever it takes to get elected and need to be stopped.

10:49. You are saying all votes should not be counted? What dictatorship are you living in?

Dave T: Limbo lower now, how low can Gillum go? Looks like liberals are still having a hard time learning to accept reality in all of its forms. Sorry no safe spaces here.

All legitimate votes should be counted and not these fake back room dumbocrat boiler room ballots.

10:35 - Wish I could agree. I used to, but the last year has changed my mind. The democrats need to be destroyed - PERIOD! Then a reasonable second party can emerge. But there is no delaing with these loons after the crap they ahve pulled during the last year.

Can't face facts??? Huh? The FACTS are that the law calls for an automatic recount when the vote tally is at a set margin. Well sir, it sounds like there is a real chance the vote tally will be at that set margin. So tell me who really is not facing the facts.

There are rules and regulations and the law of the land to follow. When polls close according to that State's rules. it is over no matter what your excuse for not voting on time. Florida knows that and so does Gillium but Soros and others will bend those laws to their advantage.

As an election judge, I find it amazing and absurd that Florida still does not know what happened or how many votes were cast. Why does it only happen in Democrat controlled areas? Those election officials need to be fired and jailed. Some of their deadlines seem tight but 4 days later they still dont know.
