Nearly 600 Pregnant Illegal Aliens Hoping to Have Anchor Babies in U.S. Detained in Five Months

Close to 600 pregnant illegal alien women have been detained by United States Border Patrol and immigration officials in the last five months, newly released numbers reveal.

In a critical Buzzfeed News report of President Trump’s “zero tolerance” policy at the border, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials revealed that between December 2017 and April 2018 there have been about 590 pregnant illegal alien women booked into detainment after crossing the U.S.-Mexico border.

The staggering numbers are buried in a long-form report where pregnant illegal aliens allege abuse at the detention facilities by the Border Patrol and ICE agency.

There is NOTHING in our Constitution that guarantees a baby born to an illegal immigrant in the USA is automatically a citizen...the intention was that freed slaves and their children would be citizens, not any person that is able to sneak in here...

But it is ok when it is wealthy middle easterners and asians do it. “There is nothing in the law that makes it illegal for pregnant women to enter the United States,” said Virginia Kice, a spokeswoman for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

If a cat gives birth in a cold oven, do you call them biscuits?

Fool. Any child born in the United States is a legal citizen. Read the constitution.
No interpretation is needed. What this country need to do is put all of these pregnant women on a military plane and send them back home to south america before their babies are born. Illegal mothers know this. That's why they keep coming.

The fourteenth amendment allows any child born in the United States is considered s citizen. The problem with this amendment is that this country doesn't have the balls to separate a mother who entered this country illegally from a child who was born in this country. That's why we have such a big problem with illegal immigration in this country. It starts with the mother.

Why seperate them that s inhumane. You came here illegally you are illegal from head to toe including your belly and whats in it. Why cant that law be amended to prevent separation.

@July 19, 2018 at 11:30 AM. The 14th amendment does not say that. It says,". . . born here AND subject to the jurisdiction of the United States." The magic word is AND. They ARE NOT subject to the jurisdiction of the United States if both parents are from another country or here illegally. The parent/parents of the child are subject to the jurisdiction of their home country, making the child subject to the jurisdiction of the parents home country. Not that of the United States. Therefore the child IS NOT a citizen on the U.S. Example. If a Japanese couple, the wife being pregnant, came to America to visit and she had her baby here and if the child was automatically a citizen of the United States, they would not be able to remove that child from America, because this would be it's home country. Understand? The child would not be a citizen because it's parents are subject to the jurisdiction of Japan. That's why it ALSO says the child must be subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, AND be born here. It's birth certificate would say it was born here but not say it was a citizen of America.

@July 19, 2018 at 11:15 AM. No, your the fool. They ARE NOT a citizen. Read it again. It says, ". . . born here AND subject to the jurisdiction of the United States. The magic word being "AND".How can they be subject to the jurisdiction of the U.S. if both their parents are here illegally and citizens of another country????? If that were true, then every child born here of foreign parents is not a citizen of their parents home country. Plus the parents would not be able to remove the child if it is a citizen of America and take it to a foreign country. That's why they included the word, "AND". People coming here to America are citizens of their home country and so is their unborn child. A child born here cannot be subject to our jurisdiction if it's parents are citizens of another country. Understand now?
