Pedestrian Struck By Scooter In West Ocean City
At approximately 1:35 today, Ocean City Fire/EMS was dispatched for a pedestrian struck by a scooter, eastbound Rt. 50 in front of the Francis Scott Key resort. The patient was transported to PRMC with life threatening injuries. While en-route the patient's condition deteriorated. Paramedics from Berlin requested to assist in the vicinity of the MSP Barrack.

That’s because ocean city is so understaffed they didn’t have another provider to send. They had to pull a volunteer off the engine to drive and hijack a Berlin paramedic in transit.
