That was one major Cluster, Joe. You know anytime the Salisbury Fire Department is going to be added to the call it's going to be chaotic. Darrin Scott responded down there in his "Take Home To Delaware" chiefs car. WTH did he go down there for? They asked for firefighters not someone that is going to run around like a chicken with its head cut off.

And that damn 911 Center couldn't keep up with two calls at once. They had the Fruitland grass fires and a bucket truck that tipped over in Mardela. Damn, it was embarrassing for this city and county.

The Layfield sawdust mill caught fire yesterday. I saw it riding by and didn’t see anyone out there so I called Parsonburg FD. They told me Pittsville was responding because they didn’t have anyone at the station that could drive. WTF

Central re-alerted and re-alerted for the Parsonsburg Volunteer Fire Department to respond to that call. The Parsonsbur volunteers never got out on that call. What a shame. Then they had to alert the Pittsville Volunteer Fire Department to handle that call and they were there for hours.

If I remember correctly it was the chief of the Parsonsburg Volunteer Fire company and the chief and president of the Fruitland Volunteer Fire Company that told the county that they don't need and don't want the volunteers from Station 13 to respond to their calls. These 2 fire companies have to be re-alerted all the time. Many times they don't even get out and Salisbury has to cover the calls for them. WTH is going on in this County?? When is Bob Culver going to do something about it??
