Hertz Joins Parade of Major Companies Cutting Ties With NRA

Car rental giant Hertz announced Friday it has joined the growing list of companies severing ties to the National Rifle Association (NRA) in the wake of the Florida school massacre that took 17 lives, according to multiple reports.

The Hill tweeted out the news announcing that Hertz has joined the parade of companies breaking with the NRA.

Hertz said it would stop offering discounts to NRA members. Other car rental companies, including National, Enterprise and Alamo, announced earlier this week that they would no longer offer NRA discounts.

First National Bank of Omaha announced Thursday that it would not renew its contract to issue NRA-branded credit cards, The Washington Post reported.

Other companies on the list include the cyber security firm Symantec, Met Life and Life Lock Inc.

We will boycott these companies

there are more members of NRA than people think. Start hurting these businesses and stop using them. They will come around.

It's pretty simple, just like the Companies that advertise on MSNBC, those companies don't get my money.

Name a car rental company that won't get my business.

Thank you for informing me of the actions of Hertz, Alamo, etc. so that I can stop doing business with these companies.

Are those goofs going to stop dealing with alcohol and cigarette manufacturers, too? They are also legal and kill almost 3000 people A DAY. THREE THOUSAND A DAY. And are implicated in the rape and murder of thousands of children a year. What? No outrage???
Boycott the NRA and I boycott YOU. So will millions of other Americans.
See how many broke, basement dwelling pansies travel and rent cars, eat at nice restaurants and BUY THINGS.
THEY buy pizza, eat Tide gel, and bike to wherever the latest protest is happening. Or borrow Mom's car.
WE spend money. Lots of it. Wave at it as it goes right by YOU.
Keep cheering.

I'm sure the one or two times you rent a car every 3 or so years is going to put them under.

If you are for the 2nd amendment than don't do business with these companies and tell them so.
