In early February the US government was already scheduled to borrow nearly $1 trillion this year.
A week later and that figure is already out the door as this week both parties agreed to expand spending caps seemingly preparing for World War III. An incremental hundreds of billions of dollars to the military budget alone in just 2 years. What for? To what end? It’s a bonanza for defense contractors surely and the president apparently wants a parade, but have we entered the math no longer applies zone?

I am tied of people complaining about Defense spending. Why are these same people not complaining about the billions the US gives away in Foreign aide and the military expense occurred in these Countries? Why are we making these groups of political leaders rich while people starve? Why are we borrowing this money to give away, while US Citizens are dying right here in the US? People complain about housing in these Countries but do nothing about US homeless? Why does the US borrow money to give to the unappreciative and screw over US Citizens in the same situation? No More Foreign Aide until the US is supporting their own needy.
