Wicomico County Dressing Up Recycling Centers

Wicomico County Executive Bob Culver is fully committed to recycling and is in the process of dressing up each and every recycling location throughout the County.

Bins are being painted, fencing is going up, lighting and even security cameras are being installed in order to stop illegal dumping and activity at each location.

In the near future we will share the new community recycling centers where Wicomico County has designed smaller centers in larger communities to make it even more convenient to recycle.

To the residents from Fruitland bitching about their convenience center/recycling being closed and blaming it on Executive Culver, YOU ARE WRONG and uneducated. It was YOUR Council and Officials that demanded it be taken away. I will not publish your uneducated comments. Mr. Culver and Staff are working diligently to put another recycling center in Fruitland and you will hear about their progress very soon.

Maybe Worcester County will be shamed into upgrading their recycle center in front of Berlin Wal-Mart. Trash blows onto other properties and illegal junk left for the county to haul away.

Blows my mind the amount of trash left at these sites. A lot of kids outdoor furniture etc that doesn't constitute what can be recycled....recycling is great if you do it right.....

The same Fruitland counsel that charges late fees if the Post Office doesn't get your payment to them on time during a major snow storm. When it does get to them on time but not date stamped because office was closed due to the weather. You still get a late fee charge. Those people !!! Sorry got carried away. I now hand deliver my bill which they don't like that either. I take my recycle to Salisbury near the college. No problem.
