But where's the house?

That house near Pohanka is not zoned in the City of Salisbury, believe it or not. But the question in the post is a very reasonable one. A full definition of fence/wall is needed.

It is a work of art!

It's not wood or plastic and you can't buy these at the local stores, so is it illegal? I think it looks very nice, and I also think in many places, chain link is much easier on the eyes than Lowe's or Home Depot fences.

Jake Day is running the city into the ground. Everyone can see what is in front of them and in the open but it's the "behind the scenes" things, that he does, that prevents Salisbury from growing and modernizing. For example, the city of Salisbury advertised for a "city/urban planner". This job was advertised nationally and people from across the country expressed interest and applied for the position. After weeks of not hearing from the city regarding interviews, it was learned that the position had been offered to someone else. I know of an applicant that was an outstanding candidate. They had over ten years of experience in a city four times the size of Salisbury and had successfully revitalized the city. Yet, they didn't even get an interview. This appears to be another case of Jake Day advertising a position, because he is required to, but having a preconceived and predetermined person for the job. Could this be another case of "hooking up a friend" with a government job? Were interviews even conducted? No wonder nothing gets accomplished or revitalized in the city of Salisbury. One would think an "outside perspective" and "fresh ideas" would be highly sought and welcomed. Instead, we will get the same old, same old. Can't wait to see who gets this position.

Looks like a piece of crap. Might look better with a little maintenance.

My wooden fence is falling apart and looks like crap and there is nothing they can do about it since they can not see if from the street.

It's ugly

Our city government should not be in the entertainment business. I know many cities that host huge festivals and they are all orchestrated by a non profit arts organization. They all pay the city for it's services including security.

Why are the taxpayers on the hook for any of this ?

He pulls this fence crap and the city will get sued.

A very beautiful wall I would say, wish it was mine. We need to impeach Day he has totally lost his mind. The things he should change for the better he doesn't care about he lacks morals and a heart. He takes everything away from home owners that should be their God given rights and cares only about bars, Third Fridays, slum lords, the rights of those who rape, murder, and steal, photos of himself and patting himself on the back, and probably kisses himself in the mirror, and you helped by taking down protection along Riverwalk lead to one unfortunate death already. With all the Dems after Trump out here why can't anyone see what you are doing?

i love this, i wish it was in my back yard. I would give it a fresh coat of paint and it would look fabulous!

Um, what "God given rights" are you talking about? You have no "God given rights." You actually have no "rights" at all. You have a collection of "privileges" that can be REVOKED at any time.
