Md. schools to review transgender policies

WASHINGTON — Maryland educators are reviewing their policies on protections for transgender students.

The move comes after President Trump decided to rescind the rules issued by the Obama administration that required schools to provide bathroom access based on a student’s gender identity.

William Reinhard, executive director of communications for Maryland’s State Department of Education, said that the current guidelines are under review, but that a change is not expected. The state’s guidelines on how schools should handle the needs of transgender students were issued before the Obama administration’s directive.

In Montgomery County, Superintendent Jack Smith joined Board of Education President Michael Durso in issuing a statement that school policy would not change in the wake of the Trump administration’s decision.

Will the school boards be held liable for the rapes that happens in these bathrooms. I am not one of those idiots that believes it will never happen. This will open interesting lawsuits against these Counties and elected officials. They should not be exempt from these possible lawsuits.

Then both Smith and Durso should be charged with child endangerment and child sex trafficking. Common sense should tell you its unhealthy, especially confusing to children. Your interest arnt about the health of children rather towing your corrupt masters wishes. You will be held accountable.

This is why we need charter schools.

"statement that school policy would not change"

Uh, what is the policy? No way to tell if change is a good or bad thing.

If you are born with testostorone u are a male if you are born with estrogen you are a female no questions asked. You are what you are born not what u want to be. If a male was in the bathroom with my wife or kids there will be an issue

In other not-so-fake-news, Montgomery County is scratching its head about what no more federal dollars coming in would do to their big spending needs and plans. Film at 11!
