Organic material (compost) is a good thing. I applaud the efforts of the business that is thinking ahead.

701 840 it gets picked up and dumped into the same garbage truck. No organic only garbage truck picks it up. But maybe it gets separated at the dump by organic garbage men.
9:03 AM - It depends on where you live. Some places have contracts and even requirements for separate pickup and delivery to a different destination, some of them contractors that keep the waste out of the landfill.
