PAOLI, Okla. (KOKH) - Police say a Garvin County woman was arrested after shooting a man in her home.
The Paoli Police Department says 34-year-old Valerie Fowler was arrested Aug. 29 on a complaint of assault and battery with a deadly weapon.
Just after 7:20 a.m. Monday, police say Fowler found a man in a bedroom with her 16-year-old daughter. Fowler allegedly then shot the man.

He was just doing a hands on demonstration and discussion on the birds and the bees. He is an instructor. If there was no criminal intent on his part, then there is no crime, right Mr. Comey !
You have a stranger in your home, raping your daughter, and you're not supposed to shoot him?! Even if the daughter was OK with this and had invited him over, the home owner had not allowed him in the house and it was statutory rape.
Article said nothing about rape. He was in her room. Go ahead, shoot first, ask questions later while you are in jail.
I always thought it wasn't against the law to shoot an intruded inside your home...there must be more to this story...
The age of consent in Oklahoma is 16 (same as Maryland). The only crime was the shooting.
