I have not read anything about her yet,but I recall she advocated women's pro basketball.Women have taken a back seat in sports for as long as I can remember. That is is real shame, because their level of competition surpasses that of men when the pound for pound comparison is taken into consideration.Women excel in every sport they participate in.Pat will be missed.

She died of advanced Alzheimer's disease. Her mind was obviously occupied and challenged. Scientists tell us that Alzheimer's can be kept a bay by occupying our mind.
Some Scientists make a living building false narratives, like global warming and so on. There is more to Alzheimer's than understood or admitted. Be afraid, for the chemicals that robbed this woman's mind are affecting everyone to different degrees.

8:52 You make bold statements. Women take a back seat to men's sports for a few reasons.
1. They are simply not as exciting. Women's sports are typically about a decade behind men's sports in level of play. They are slower and less technical.
2. Pound for pound? Lets line up all the Pro WNBA players and see how many can dunk, alley opp, or touch the back board jumping from the free throw line.
3. Women get thrashed in every sport they have tried to compete against men.

However if you say that women competing against women is pleasant to watch I would agree. I recently watched the Women's World Champions Wrestling and I was very impressed with their level of technicality and competition. Of course that is because many of them a juiced to the eyeballs but thats another conversation. Women's tennis is fun to watch. I wonder if anyone notices that the top earners happen to be the prettiest and are usually not even in the top 100. Women's Golf ehh take it or leave it. Women's Soccer is just a boring as men's soccer. Track and Field again its nice to see what a women can do but its still worlds behind men's track and field.

Your argument is ridiculous and you are simply taking the spotlight off of Pat Smith and trying to put it onto some other nonsense argument. The only people that care about women's sports are women, men with daughters trying to be supportive and men with sever sports addictions.

Good day.

That sounds similar to what Bobby Riggs said before he got trashed by Billie Jean King.

She is not the only woman who has beat a man competitor either.

I am a man and I enjoy watching women sports more than men sports even if I don't have a daughter playing.

You sound like a bias male who gives real men a bad name.

Oh you mean Billy Jean King in her prime at 30 playing Bobby Riggs at 55 in a match that meant nothing? That's the worst argument for whatever you are trying to prove I have ever heard. Next.

One mark in the win column in the history of mankind. Oh sorry you have Joan of Ark. 2 marks in the win column in 500 years. Get real. I am tired of hearing this girl power nonsense. Women will NEVER be able to compete in a pound for pound, age to age, skill to skill platform EVER!!!

Anyone remember Jimmy Conners v Martina Navratilova probably a better example of reality. Plus they changed the rules to allow an advantage to Martina Navratilova.

I don't think the male/female thing really matters. Sports are exciting when people of equal skill levels compete. For instance SU not ever playing Texas A&M in football, or the different levels in motorsports, or UMES never playing Duke. But yet SU excels at their level with both male and female teams.

The original poster stated "because their level of competition surpasses that of men when the pound for pound comparison is taken into consideration". This is simply a false statement. It also makes no sense. Its part of a larger problem of women being raised to believe that the very real differences between men and women don't exist or should not matter. They do matter and the differences are many. I simply am not turning a blind eye to such ridiculous statements anymore.

6:18 a bias does not exist simply because you disagree. That is the type of logic children use to justify their actions. FACT, men are genetically predisposed to be POUND FOR POUND faster and stronger than women. Look at world records for your comparison. Show me one that exists with a better record for a woman than a man.
