Committeeman: Hogan Won't Face "Credible" Primary Challenge In Two Years For Not Endorsing Trump

Governor Larry Hogan has repeatedly said he has no plans to support Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and has no plans to attend the Republican National Convention in July.

Traditionally the governor chairs the state delegation at the party's national convention.

This year that job will fall to David Bossie, who is the president and CEO of Citizens United,, and was elected earlier this month to be Maryland's Republican National Committeeman.

Bossie told Maryland's News This Week that he hopes Hogan changes his mind about supporting Trump, because Republicans should support their party's presidential nominee to defeat Hillary Clinton in November.

I have as many others been delighted to have Gov Hogan in office. I also don't expect to agree with his every decision and that is expected. But on this issue, I believe it is a bit more important than some of the other disagreements. We supported Mr. Hogan to become the governor of this very liberal state and would hope he would support Mr. Trump, though perhaps having issues with Trump (I don't know that).
Being a conservative I would surely wish that the good governor would consider supporting Mr. Trump along with giving us Marylander's some respect on our rights as gun owners to protect ourselves and family.

Hogan Strong!!!
Prayers continue for his health issues

Thanking you in advance Gov Hogan.

The Governor is demonstrating that he is a thinking, intelligent governor. He gets zero benefit if he backs Trump.

We wish Gov. Hogan would support and endorse Trump. The voters have spoken in the primary as to who they want to represent them.

Hogan is attempting to make Maryland strong again, kudos to him for that, and he should be happy that Trump is attempting to make America strong again. Vote Trump.

so far love the job Gov. Hogan is doing for our state. disappointed he chose not to endorse President Trump...a mistake, but it won't cost him...

He needs to endorse Trump. This man has been great for us but the majority has spoken. He enjoyed many endorsing him when it was not politically correct in this liberal hell hole called Maryland.

Mind you, everyone that Hogan is a Governor of a VERY blue state and his job is to turn Maryland around for the benefit of its citizens. I think keeping his mouth shut on ant endorsement for POTUS is wise, looking at who he has to make deals with.

Now, if he goes off and endorses someone OTHER THAN Donald Trump, we have a problem, Houston.

Steve,
I agree. If he was to endorse Trump it would be political suicide at this point. We need him to get elected to a second term.
