Puppy Mill Update

Sickening. Arrest the goons. Lock them up and throw away the key. Better yet, put them in an outside cage and let the fleas feast. Ugly scum.
there was something sent out today by the animal control usually the way it works in our county (not Wicomico) is once the states attorney decides on the cruelty or other criminal charges he or she tells the animal control to release the dogs for adoption the way I read the county website is the animal control is in the humane society building too which will make things go quicker once the states attorney gives the okay they can probably transfer many dogs to other humane societies in the area depending on what breeds the dogs are
Currently the Wicomico County Humane Society is doing a great job with this situation.
i am gonna get some supplies for them this week and drop off they need all the help they can get.
Super Pet isn't any better! They swore to us they don't buy from puppy mills, but they DO!! We learned the hard way. We will never step foot in that place again!!

I was interested in owning another cat. My 14 yr old cat died some years back but I did not run out to replace her. I really started to yearn for another kitten and went to start looking at Pet Smart since all my pets are rescue pets. Well... my yearning stopped in one trip. I no longer feel the urge to get a cat. I couldn't get close enough to really interact with the cats because the stink of urine and feces was so strong I turned around and left. I find it hard to believe that multiple cats in a single little cage with a filthy cat litter box would appeal to anyone. Sad.
Yes, we need to know who they are.
All the dogs have to completely vet checked including blood work before charges can be filed! Be Patient - the names will come out! Please donate if you can - remember the animals will appreciate it!
I do hope lots of people will donate to help this horrible situation! Thank you to everyone who spoke up to help these poor defenseless animals. Joe, once again thank you for the blog so we can reach more of the people in the community. We can depend on you!!!!
