Boy, 8, with gun tries to rob West Palm Beach grocery store

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. —The state announced Friday that it will not pursue charges against an 8-year-old boy who tried to rob grocery store with handgun.

The incident happened Wednesday night at the King Foods in the 1000 block of 36th Street in West Palm Beach.

The attempted robbery was captured on the store's surveillance cameras.

The boy is seen walking into the store wearing a bike helmet and baggy clothes.

He walked down an aisle, then to a checkout register.

Well since they aren't going to do anything - He WILL do it again! SAD!!! Next time a life might be taken! Lord, I hope not and somebody please get help for that child!!!

...So the mother keeps the gun in her purse but apparently does not keep up with it. They should consider charging her! Love to know what this little one has been allowed to view on TV...what music he has been fed...who the men in his life are/aren't.

This is disturbing on many levels.

Sad thing he points gun at a cop or another person they kill him they are wrong. This country is in a sad place. This kid sees no future and that is what we all have to look forward to.
