JUST IN: O'Malley Fails to Qualify for Ohio's Ballot

Democratic presidential candidate Martin O'Malley has failed to qualify for Ohio's primary ballot, falling short of the signatures needed to appear before the state's voters.

A spokesman for Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted (HYOO'-sted) tells The Associated Press that O'Malley failed to get the 1,000 valid signatures needed to appear on March 15 primary ballots. The former Maryland governor's campaign submitted 1,175 signatures, but only 772 were found to be valid.

O'Malley spokeswoman Haley Morris says the campaign is exploring its options. She says O'Malley will campaign vigorously in Ohio.

There is an opening for a clown at Barnum & Bailey Circus. He would be a perfect fit.

Democrats lie cheat and steal! Every fricking one of them.

No surprise. Glad to see the rest of the nation is aware of just how bad O'
Malley really is. We need real politicians not impostors like this clown.

His arrogance is repulsive! Looking at the numbers NO ONE in this country wants O'Malley. Why are you raising and wasting campaign money on a lost cause. His ego is costing a lot of people money, however he doesn't have the decency or mental capacity to admit no one likes him. He is an example of today's useless politicians, only out for self gain and power. He continues to make an ass out of himself.

Laura Mitchell must have been in charge of that petition.

Like Ireton, O'Malley is going backwards in the number of votes he can get. Now we know why Ireton wanted those smaller districts. He knew he couldn't get votes from outside his own little world. As it is, not too many votes would have had to switch sides for a total unknown to beat him.

I hope he doesn't come back to MD and try for babs mikulsi's seat.

LOL Yep Take note Ireton! Ireton just like his idol OMalley is going to get the awakening of a lifetime. Of his lifetime. Fair warning Ireton. Take my advice. Just because Salisbury voters are overall imbeciles doesn't mean the rest of the state is and if he runs against the very honorable Andy Harris he is going to get reamed a new one and many of us will be there to smash, smear and rub it in Ireton's nose just like we are doing with that very foul liar called OMalley. Just happy OMalley kids are finally getting to see what a horrid degenerate they got stuck with for a sperm donor.

"O'Malley will campaign vigorously in Ohio... "

Delusional. (Still)

Apparently Ohio doesn't want a bunch of new taxes. Now who can be charged for submitting false signatures? 403 counts of fraud. about 35%, imagine that and how that could change an election. That's not even factoring rigged electronic voting machines.

He is doing to America just what he did to the citizens of Maryland. O'Malley tries to force his politics down the throats of people. His personality is so repulsive that I almost puke when I hear his voice.

Taxes and more taxes, fees, bridge tolls, even going so far as to tax the rain.

What an absolute disgrace.

I guess all those taxes increases have come back to bite him in the butt.

Please go back to Baltimore, they love you THERE.

He did not meet Rule #33 which states the individual must have at least 1 ounce of brain matter.

Here's my question. If 403 signatures were tossed out as "invalid", how were they invalidated? Was it by checking for those names and signatures against lists like valid drivers licenses, death certificates and other lists of people that have different types of I.D. like active credit scores and such?

Is so vetted, then why is proper I.D. ignored at the ballot box?

2:09 yes, the plan is for Bab's seat if Cummings doesn't ascend to it but he might not have Baltimore support needed so pay attention

Thank you, Steve.
