Wounded Warrior gets keys to mortgage-free home in Bowie, Md.

BOWIE, Md. (ABC7) — Today, a wounded warrior from our region received a police escort and keys to his new home. There is no mortgage, thanks to the Military Warriors Support Foundation and generous donors.

"It's kind of overwhelming I guess," said Retired Army Corporal Jeremy Horsley.

Horsley, his wife and 6-year-old twins will soon relocate from Washington state to the newly renovated house in Bowie. The family will now live much closer to Horsley's parents in Winchester, where he grew up.
