The Flaming Grill

I decided to come to Salisbury to have dinner with my Family. Mind you, we're eating early and one would think with ALL the open tables we'd  get seated T a clean booth, NOT.

Haven't eaten at this filthy place in the last year. When they first opened it was clean and decently priced...it went downhill fast!!!!

Today's special was Cockroach Stew, with a side of mouse droppings.

Like most Asian restaurants, nasty... Ginger House is good so far

I went there today for lunch. Was on my second plate before I was brought the water I ordered to drink and after I was done I sat for ten minutes before I got up to pay because no one would bring me the bill. Not again...done with this place.

What you expect in Salisbury? Your beating a dead horse anyway. Shotty restaurants and bars is the premiere attractions here. That and art galleries full of no bodies and losers art work.

Ginger House, Ginger House, Ginger House! It is great.

I wish the health department would post grades on the outside of the restaurants like they do in New York.

Great idea nut the good ole boys won't do it ,maybe bob culver could do something for county businesses?

I use to go in there because I could eat a 15 minute lunch. The 1st time they seated me in the back of the place among a group of tables of single parent women and their broods of unbehaving rude children and filthy conditions - While Asians were seated in the front where it was sunny and clean and businessmen were seated in between. When I went back again I was seated at the same table among the same exact type of people next to me and the same exact dynamic was in play with the rest of the house. These people are patently racist ..you can call me racist for noticing if you please but with the food spread all over the floor and the screaming rugrats were a total insult. Your picture hardly does justice to what is really going on there. Chinatown is exponentially cleaner and goes the extra mile to serve their customers.

Sorry for the spelling error on this post. I sent it from my cell phone and it's very difficult to see what is being typed onto the post. Nevertheless, who would have ever thought this would make the #2 post of the week overnight.

Our waiter understood water and soda and would simply smile and shake his head. The only time he seemed to gain a personality is when he dropped off the bill, smiled and when he returned to pick it up I got a big THANK YOU. Hmmm, I didn't think he spoke American.

Now look, as you can see from the picture, the waiter knew immediately that there was food all over the floor at our table. He never once said, let me take care of that for you and clean it up. Mind you, there was that entire section where NO ONE was at a single table and he chose to put us there. Also, there was no food on the floor at any other table.

So anyway, "you can't fix something you are not aware of" is what I always say. I can assure you by now, this restaurant is now very well aware of this and IF you experience the same thing we did last night, THEY DON'T CARE.

The food is really nasty, stay away and stay well.

That's pretty clean for SBY. What's the issue?

Amazing to me how many comments are sent in about restaurants, bars, stores, and other businesses around here, but SO FEW are sent in about SERIOUS issues concerning the events happening nationally or globally. Not saying that Joe shouldnt post these things, I totally agree that he does, but it baffles me every time .

Just letting you know that Salisbury University has a very nice breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet. Every time I have been there, it has been very clean and the food has been very good. You can also pull up their menu and find out what is being served each day for the whole week. Just google Salisbury University food menu and it should come up to view.

Also, regarding the Salisbury University food menu, it is open to the public.

5:36 Myself and my wife noticed the same thing. We would go there once a week for a quick lunch. Each time we were being seated in almost the exact same booth and right next to us was a large table for families that almost always had a bunch of young kids.

Chinatown is far better and much more quiet. Flaming Grill is very noisy and has almost a cafeteria feel to it.

We only went for the Hibachi bar which we found t be better than Chinatown. Over all though Chinatown has the better buffet, service and atmosphere.
