Loud Booms In Worcester County

Many of our residents have been reporting loud booms over the past two nights. Last night, many of us felt our homes shake from an unknown source. Tonight those noises continued. What we are hearing are sonic booms that are courtesy of our Armed Forces. As one Veteran recently said, be glad they are our planes. Tonight, many in the county could actually see the military jets deploying flares and conducting maneuvers along the coast. With the right conditions and wind directions, the noise can impact our area. Most of the time, these exercises are conducted extremely high and over the ocean. These exercises may continue depending on weather, over the next few nights.

Its the voice of God, you fools. He is not happy you have taken Him out of your schools, your governmental locations, and you families. He is not pleased with man's interpretation of His Holy Word.

He's coming, folks, and He is NOT happy.

Be thankful for the sounds of weapons that guarantee our freedoms!
Our current batch of elected representatives would be happy to see that these weapons did not exist in our arsenal - so they could spend the money on their own special interests.

Be careful at your upcoming visit to the voting booth - research what the candidates positions are on issues that have the potential to impact our long term freedoms - not just speech, guns, and reproduction - but travelling from state to state, having a job, buying whatever flag you want, and not having to listen to some raghead wailing his fellow 'slimes to prayer!

It doesn't hurt my feelings, or my ears, that they are practicing. I've heard them in real life and there ain't no comparison!

When I was a kid in the 60's and 70's it was common around here to have your windows rattle from it!

Love hearing the sound of freedom. That is what my tax dollars pay for, not free phones.

I saw this on the Worcester County Sheriffs FB page. But WBOC is reporting that the initial boom that occurred Tuesday night happened with no flights scheduled in our area. Makes you wonder what really is going on. I would assume some sort of weapons testing. Some of the people on Chincoteague reported seeing a ball of fire in the sky.

I remember in the early 90s hearing a sonic boom from the jets. Scared me to death. The entire house rumbled. Being new to the area I didn't know what was going on.

And then it would burst out raining
