Law School for the Public

On Saturday, September 19, 2015, from 9am-noon, the Wicomico County Bar Association will be sponsoring a free Law School for the Public at the Wor-Wic Community College.

Attendees will have the opportunity to attend sessions led by experienced local attorneys on a number of legal topics. This year's topics include the following:

- Buying and Selling Real Estate led by Morgan White, Esq. of Delmarva Title
- Estate Planning led by Jean Laws, Esq.
- Starting a Business led by Kristin Smith, Esq. of the firm Otway, Russo and Rommel
- Debt Relief led by Ann Shaw, Esq.

Attendees are encouraged to come with questions they may have on any of these legal topics.

A light breakfast will be provided for those attending. Please RSVP with the number attending to Karen at 410-546-1750.

It's a marketing strategy to drum up business, in their respective areas of specialty. Not a "pro bono" free legal help session. They'll outline some basics that everyone should know, talk about some of the pitfalls and complexities, , and convince them they should hire a lawyer.

And they just happen to be specializing in exactly that topic.
