Any proof it was flushed and pumped out? I call bs. How is a storm drain flushed and pumped out? Its not like they can block one end, fill it with water then suck it out.

I dont need to look it up I've been building bridges and city infrastructure for 20 years I know what a catch basin is. After the crap was dumped down the drain they (being Walmart) dumped loads of water down it bringing the levels high enough to flow out of the sewer line essentially washing the contamination out. So again I ask, how (and who) pumped/flushed? This "update" post is seriously lacking and sounds like hearsay.
510, The only thing that could have happened in the 5 hours after the fact is to pump out the catch basin and rinse/ pump so that whatever was caught in there (What, 5 gallons?) was captured before our next rain.
To expect more is idiocy, and to complain about what spilled over is futile, but fineable by the MDE.
So, what excactly is your point here?
No reason to doubt Joe's story. He would not have said it if it weren't so.
