East branch of the Wicomico river, when I was a kid everyone swam down at the city park just below the band stand all along the concrete retaining wall.
Been uo it many a time without a paddsle!!

This was mot taken in MD,there are saw palmetto trees visible in this photo and the farthest north I have seen them is Georgia.
