DSP: New Jersey Teen Arrested After Sneaking into Firefly

The Woodlands, Dover – Troopers have arrested and charged an 18 year old male for trespassing after he snuck into Firefly and posted the video on YouTube.

The investigation was initiated on Wednesday June 24, 2015 after information was received by detectives that a video was posted to YouTube detailing a young male's entry into the Firefly Music Festival's grounds on Sunday June 21st. The video, which was titled, "Cameras Allowed: How to Actually Sneak into a Music Festival," has since been removed from YouTube and was posted on Sam Moeller's account.

Criminal Detectives were able to link the account with a Sam Moeller, 18 of Moorestown, New Jersey, and generate a warrant for Criminal Trespass 2nd and Theft Under $1,500.00 for failing to pay the admission fee of $199.00. Moeller turned himself into troopers on Thursday June 25, 2015 and was released on a $300.00 unsecured bond.

Just proves what idiots are schools and parents are raising these days. To be so dumb, like hundreds of others, to post your criminal activity on public social media sites. He might as well as wore a sign around his neck stating what law he broke and where he did it! Idiot, pure idiot!

Much ado about nothing.

Great detective work, DSP! Getting this scum arrested is what we need from you 24-7! Think of what could have happened if he had gotten caught up in heroin and LSD at that concert! (I've heard that rock concert goers do drugs) You probably saved many lives preventing whatever murders this possibly drug- crazed wild man could have committed during his illegal video "trip"! Just LOOK at him!

I feel so much safer now...

Maybe if the Bond was a 50,000 and the trial Court Judge gave him five years with NO PAROLE and also 5 YEARS Probation others would not do this or even THINK of DOING THIS.

Oh Jesus Christ. It's a show. We used to sneak people in the drive ins while they hid in the trunk. This is a stupid waste of police resources. The kid should have gotten a ty for showing is our security lapses.

Pity there's no real crime for law enforcement to concentrate on.
