Claims knife. No knife. Beats the hell out of the man. They aren't cops. At that moment at least. Loss prevention can not do this. Outside the store or inside. They eyeball observe try to hinder leaving and gather info to help arrest. This is crazy. I will say that these loss prevention guys locally are kick ass dudes and ladies. I've never seen a situation like this and they keep SPD cars moving to the jail.

I think a tazer would have worked better these guys are poorly trained and would've apprehended him a lot quicker and without causing that much damage.

I saw the knife. I came out of his right pocket and he stabbed black t shirt several times with it. Look again, folks! No wonder the body slam! Nice job on the face rearrangement!

This is against their policy. Their security is only supposed to approach after they leave the store. Then they can only observe the one in question if they refuses to cooperate. Then at that time verify that local law enforcement has been contacted. Note the color, make tag number on vehicle and direction they left.
Big time lawsuit since it is violation of company policy.

Overkill, really, was this necessary. I do not think it is legal for them to assault the perp.
they are fake cops on ego trip.
