Maryland governor plans trade trip to China, Japan, S. Korea

ANNAPOLIS, Md. —Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan is planning an economic development trip to Asia this spring.

Hogan said in an interview Monday with The Associated Press that he is planning the trip to South Korea, China and Japan at the end of May or early June.

The Republican governor says there are a number of initiatives the state is looking at to stimulate economic investment and job creation in the state. He says one of them is meeting with Asiana Airlines and Korea Air to talk about the possibility of getting flights to Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport.

Lol! The international travel (is the whole family going??) thing is already starting.
It comforting to know that no matter who has the power, they still use it the same way.
Maybe next time he can take his wife's family to Brazil. To look for "opportunities".
Then, it's off to Israel, using the "Friends and Family Fly Free (at the taxpayers expense) Plan. To seek "better ways of doing things"....
Hogan is many people's "guy".

It didn't take him long to change things, as in, "changing who goes to Tokyo".
Before the taxpayers volunteered to fund another politician's travels, how many times did Hogan go to these places to look for "opportunities" at his OWN expense? You know, being so concerned and all.....
I'm praying that he doesn't like golf. Scotland has a lot of "opportunities" there, too....
Keep cheering.

More airlines means more jobs at BWI. Duh!

Yeah. Our savior. And then he becomes just another politician. I'm sure he'll bring lots of jobs to the shore with his overseas junket.

He needs to stop by a chicken company in Korea. I hear Delaware has become a difficult place to put a processing plant.

News Flash - The only jobs coming to the shore are service industry and fast food jobs. Game over!

That will help the shore how? People within will relocate etc.... And people who live closer get the jobs left.
