'Delmarvans at War' Exhibit Returns to Nabb Research Center March 23-May 15X

SALISBURY, MD --- Families throughout the Delmarva Peninsula were greatly impacted by both Union and Confederate supporters and events during the Civil War era.

Salisbury University’s Edward H. Nabb Research Center for Delmarva History and Culture commemorates the 150th anniversary of the Civil War with the exhibit “Delmarvans at War.” The installation returns to the center’s gallery, 190 Wayne Street, from March 23-May 15.

Through photographs, maps, diaries, correspondence, newspapers and other seldom-seen documents, the exhibit features the people of Delmarva on both the home front and the battlefield.

Gallery hours are 1-4 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Sponsored by the Nabb Research Center, admission is free and the public is invited.

For more information call 410-543-6312 or visit the Nabb Research Center website athttp://nabbhistory.salisbury.edu.

How about some open times for folks that would love to see the exhibit but must work for a living...1-4 on 3 weekdays makes that tough

I really like the fact that Nabb has been able to make an absolute Civil War connection based entirely on documented evidence. They have taken this to a new level & should be commended.

I would love to see this but why in such a limited venue? Who are they trying to attract with these hours? The unemployed civil war buff? I doubt that many exist.

Thanks Joe for posting something interesting and of cultural significance to the native residence. I never knew this place was there. I looked at the website and they seem to offer some very fascinating presentations.

Hopefully I can check out the Lincoln exhibit today on my lunch break. Today being the last day it is available for viewing.
