A Lesson On Culdesacs: Today In Wicomico County

This is a simpler than average culdesac in a subdivision. Note the driveways and mailboxes that the operator must be sure not to pile snow in front of.

This particular culdesac took approximately 15 minutes to properly clear. There are over 200 of them in Wicomico County. Very time consuming.

I have a question about the culdesac in the county. when a developer builds a development in the county and he builds the road into it. How is the county responsible for the road. My thought would be the Home Owners Ass. should be responsible for the upkeep.

The developer has to provide the roads but when completed is required to deed them over to the county. Pretty much the same policy in every county in Maryland.

Why not make one path in center of circle? No reason to clean 100%

Apparently, the do not pile snow in front of driveways or mailboxes doesn't apply in my neighborhood.
