More PROOF Your Local Media Follows Salisbury News

UMES physician assistant program on probation

Look Familiar?

That's the newest heading the Daily Times just published at 1:14 TODAY.

While we broke this story yesterday, while this story skyrocketed into the top 5 stories of the week on Salisbury News, I was just tipped off that Jeremy Cox just published the very same story in the Daily Times.

They're like toilet paper, wiping up the rear. Just like that other Blogger who just can't do anything original and copies everything we do. WMDT should follow soon "behind"

Oh, it's going to be a very tough 2015 for what's left of your local media. Come here at midnight and you'll see why.

Like toilet paper wiping up the rear? Did you really mean to use that analogy?

In high schools tons of unqualified kids are enrolled in AP classes. They are no more advanced than the man in the moon, but they don't take the AP exams so who can prove how weak they really are academically? We are all about the APPEARANCE of academic progress.

Ditto. I teach an AP class and this year is the worst year yet. Students can't and won't do the work. They get a GPA bump for taking them. It's all about the numbers.

11:10 I know how hard it is to keep the standards where they should be for an AP course. Unless those who aren't performing at an AP level get low grades, however, it will appear that there is nothing wrong with the performance of those enrolled. So the travesty will continue.
