For what it's worth, what does it tell you about Ireton's confidence in Dave Ryan from SWED. You know, the guy who is supposed to be doing exactly what the City is now paying a consultant to do.
I have been shouting from the top of the mountain for years on Salisbury News, Salisbury and Wicomico County need new Economic Development Leadership.
I've got a Brewery / Distillery Master Plan if the City would like to hire me as a consultant?

Get rid of Perdue? Perdue pays a lot of taxes in this county and employs a lot of people. Let us not forget how many businesses thrive because of Perdue. Would you prefer PRMC or SU to take up more TAX FREE properties in this county? Get rid of Perdue...yeah right. How about you leave and we keep Perdue?

The city gives SWED $30k or something like that.
If the city has to hire consultants on top of that, get rid or what's not working.
What the Hell does David Wilk of Sperry Van Ness know about running a government business with over 600 employees?

Exactly, butt lowering taxes isn't going to happen because he is a Democrat. Getting rid of the hood isn't going to happen because he keeps promoting "affordable housing" and welcoming the homeless from other towns and ECI with open arms.

One division of Perdue just left for Wicomico County. That is a problem for our tax base in Wicomico County.
I have always said get rid of Dave Ryan and SWED. He has been in charge and businesses have left faster than they came to Salisbury.
And now Perdue is moving 100 jobs from salisbury to delaware.
Yeah.
And take the stink and thugs with you.
