Woman critical after Salisbury shooting

SALISBURY, Md. (AP) - Wicomico County authorities say a woman is in critical condition after being shot in the head and that the shooter is in custody.

The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office says deputies were called to the 1200 block of Kiowa Avenue in Salisbury on Christmas for a report of a shooting. The sheriff's office says deputies found a victim with a gunshot wound to the head and she was taken to the hospital.

The sheriff's office says witnesses identified 24-year-old Jack Braboy of Salisbury as the shooter. The sheriff's office says Braboy was apprehended a short time later. A message left at a telephone listing for Braboy was not immediately returned Friday.

Top 100 communities,
I wonder if the mayor went to see her or brush it under the rug like everything else.

The neighbors in this community owe it to each other to see that this does not happen again. If you live there ....and you care..... (and I know you do)..... be a part of something good. Work to know your neighbors. If this is a problem because of trouble makers...work to get the trouble makers OUT. Come together as MLK would have instructed. Peace does not come easy but it is attainable.
