Prohibition against political activities.
"The members of the County Council, County Executive and any officers appointed by him shall be prohibited from requesting any county employee subject to the county personnel regulations to make any purchase or contribution or pay any assessment for political purposes; nor shall any officer or employee participate in any political activities or electioneering while in the course of their employment with the county. For purposes of this section "in the course of their employment with the county" shall mean that time for which one is being paid to perform work assigned by or for the benefit of the county."

Of course nothing will come of it laws,regulations and rules have no meaning anymore. The council will do absolutely nothing regarding this matter! They either won't care or are afraid to do anything. Maybe, just maybe at the most have a closed door session and tell Pollit he was a bad boy and please don't do it again!
Brooks posted Brown campaign logo and slammed Hogan on County time using County equipment. Clear violation. Pollitt doesn't have enough integrity to recognize it or apologize for it. People who have to tell others how much integrity they have all the time are the ones who have none.
More than an apology from Pollitt is in order -- it's a clear violation of the County ethics law on her part if not his, too, since someone told her to do what she did.
