Pizza 4 Patriots Sending a Slice of Home to Soldiers Overseas July 4

A program is sending a slice of home to our troops overseas.
Pizza 4 Patriots founder Master Sgt. Mark Evans spoke to Janice Dean on "Fox and Friends" this morning about the nonprofit, which airdrops pizzas to soldiers overseas for the Fourth of July. Pizza 4 Patriots has been sending the pies to our troops for the last seven years.
Evans said the nonprofit hopes to send 5,000 pizzas to soldiers this year. He also explained the "Adopt a VA" program, which aims to throw pizza parties for at least 50 VA hospitals, with the ultimate goal of a pizza party for every single one.
"It's a huge endeavor and we really need help," Evans said, asking viewers to go to pizza4patriots.com to donate.

"It's just a sheer miracle that we can take care of the troops," he said. "You know, I've had combat veterans contact us and they said, 'Here I am, a high-combat veteran, and I started to cry in front of my men to get pizza out in the desert.'"
