What difference does it make, no one is going to do anything about it unless people see via the smoke screen and vote some of these people out of office. You can post all the facts, but no one is held accountable....Just like Washington, people will keep voting them back in..

Everyone that used their cards for personal purposes should be fired and charged with tax evasion!

Then there will be some job openings for people that want to work honestly - and would get the job on their merits - instead of their connections!

Pollitt says its OK and praises the 5 stooges (including Matt Holloway) on the Council who approved the new budget.

Fredrickson and Pollitt are above the law. And you lowly taxpayers better learn that.

Just file charges... let a judge determine.

Is it possible for a member of the public or group to take action against the offenders? If this is to change in our government we will have to move out of our comfort zone and own the change.

Ok you have posted a link to the news story could someone please post a link to the law, this could be a big deal.

7:40 AM - Can't do that, Judge Jimmy Sarbanes would find them not guilty!

7:40 - which is why I voted for MJ!

If our president isn't held accountable for breaking the law than others think they will not be held accountable either. They should all be charged and tried in a court of law and let the facts be decided by a jury of peers.

wouldn't it just be easier to get rid of the cards?

Anonymous said...

Yup. Get rid of the cards & make everything go through accounting. No proper purchase order, no check. That would eliminate a lot of this fraudulent spending.

Who in the State of Maryland would we contact about this fraud to be investigated? Obviously the repeated requests for documentation has failed to produce said documents. So who do we contact on a State and Federal level? It's time to start making calls to have it investigated. Since they won't give us "The Whole Story", I want to see that "The Whole Story" comes out. As a taxpayer of this county I'm sick of this attitude "I'll do what I want and you can't do anything about it".

I do believe any business credit card can have to have a PO # to be used. Good idea then we will know who approved purchases.
