You heard anything about Jimmy Henderson?
Fire boat was out of commission today and was out of town for evaluation of needed repairs. Big bucks could be involved.
According to a comment on another site 1:36 he was killed in a work related accident.
The fire boat needs repairs? Why? It's not like it's been extensively used or anything. This can't be true though. Fire boat was free, remember? I hope it's true and it is going to take big bucks to repair because I take great pleasure in saying "told you so."
I also expect all those who were in favor of getting the boat to put their money where their mouths are for once and write a big check for donations toward any repairs.
Fire boat has electrolysis problem, could be caused by stray voltage at the dock, not by wear and tear. Lower propulsion unit badly corroded, may need replacing.
Of course it's not from wear and tear 4:45. There isn't anything more useless on the face of the earth than a fire boat for Salisbury MD. But all the sponges wanted it because in their pea brains it was "free."
Now that you have it, it's not so "free" anymore, is it?
We called them idiots BEFORE this was voted for. Now, it's easy to see.
Let the rain tax pay for it?
