What is up with these 'missing' kids around here anymore? This is becoming a daily occurrence.
People really really need to start keeping a better eye on their children. It's not rocket science or anything. It's the time of the year where you can go out and watch the geese with the goslings, the ducks with the ducklings. The mothers don't let the babies out of their sight. Human mothers should take a lesson.

Maybe the parent thought the child was in school. If the child walks to school every day the only way the parents know they didn't go to school is when the parent gets a call from the school. I wonder how many parents just wait til they come home to ask them where they have been all day instead of being in school.

13 yrs old seen on church street at 9:37 am - and that did not raise any questions? All schools are already in session at that time! Keep an eye on your children people! You had them they are YOUR RESPONSIBILITY - NOT JUST YOUR PAYCHECK!!!!!

Gosh you folks are insensitive! Maybe there was a tiff at home (they happen with teenagers imagine that) and he walked out. Mom can't get a hold of him, worries and calls police for help. This is just one very common and reasonable explanation for these missing children things.

Every other day some kid is "missing" now in Salisbury with no suspicious circumstances, 12:53. That is what you call a clue that there is a or it is becoming a systemic problem.

Wicomico schools are NOT in session today.

Well if that's the case then 12:53 for the rest of the school year, the mother needs to take him by the hand, since he's shown to be so irresponsible, and physically walk him into the school building each and every morning.
At this point in his life going to school is his "job." He needs to learn here and now, that we all have responsibilities and doing your "job" is one of them. You don't shirk your responsibilities.

12:53 to some degree you are clueless.

"They" let their children, as young as 5, walk up to the school, unsupervised.

"They" tell their kids to go outside and play and give them no mind, just so they can sit and watch tv in peace and smoke a joint.

Some of "them" really do not care. Which is why their kids end up in gangs, doing drugs, and participating in crimes.

1:26 who is 'they'? Are you generalizing again?

1:25 PLEASE READ!!!! This child went missing YESTERDAY!!!! Yesterday schools were in session and running on their normal time schedule!!!! Which would indicate that this child should have already been in a classroom not walking CHURCH STREET!!!!

This child is the same one that was missing about a month ago with another boy.

Another Liberal Obama voter loving to use "they"(not 'they') as their new race card to drop.

By the way you know exactly who they is so make them take some responsibility.

I'm wondering if you are a they!

'they' must've not learnt the first time.

Funny how they mention the missing child as being a black male, but when they put out a press release about being on the look out for a murdering thug they forget to mention him as being a black male.

Why is everyone inserting their "opinion" about this?? The fact remains that a child is missing. How do you think that the family would feel if they got on here and read your derogatory statements? How about you keep an eye out for this child?? For God's sake, show some sensitivity and compassion. I pray for this family and the child's safe return.

What are you the PC police or something 4:51? This child was "missing" a month ago. There is a pattern here and trying to ignore it as you are doing isn't showing "sensitivity and compassion." Quite the opposite actually. These kids being lost to the streets end up dead because of people like YOU who haven't the guts to speak the truth about the real problem.

I think all these missing kids are just getting their feet wet in their local gang. They go out gang-banging for a day or two and then are suddenly found and everything is okay. A couple of days later there is another one missing. They are all about the same age and most of them are male but there have been a couple of girls.

504 I don't have any problem speaking my mind when it comes the truth. So what is the big deal that we just pray this child comes home alive?? How would you feel if it was your family member who was missing? Do you really think that you would appreciate being called lazy, a street thug, a pot smoker, etc?? I've seen kids that have been walked into the front door of the school and then they wait 10 minutes and leave after being escorted into the building. Yes there is an issue, but finding this child alive is the priority. Then after he is found the issue can be addressed.

Do any of your quips really amount to anything? There is a CHILD missing!!!
