TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — Iranian warships dispatched to the Atlantic Ocean will travel close to U.S. maritime borders for the first time, a senior Iranian naval commander said Saturday.
The commander of Iran’s Northern Navy Fleet, Admiral Afshin Rezayee Haddad, said the vessels have already entered the Atlantic Ocean via waters near South Africa, the official IRNA news agency reported.
IRNA quoted Haddad as saying the fleet is approaching U.S. maritime borders for the first time. The Islamic Republic considers the move as a response to U.S. naval deployments near its own coastlines.
The voyage comes amid an ongoing push by Iran to demonstrate its ability to project power across the Middle East and beyond.

I hope we have a Commander in Chief that will give them proper escort.
Whatever shall we do?
Our military has been reduced to a group of muslims , with the knowledge of a grape.
Obama has done away with intelligent people in the armed forces. Mostly criminals and gays.
We will hit them with our purses and cover their eyes with silk panties.
While I may not like it, their ships are allowed anywhere in international waters. What worries me is how close to our borders & what capabilities do they have. To me, the ships appear small. But who knows? At least it's not a veiled threat. You know, like our cic in the persian gulf. (what they're angry about)
I think some good target practice is in the makings.... Big boy battleship....sink one and they will scatter quickly......
