Mikulski Pushes For Unemployment Extension

The U.S. Senate has delayed a key procedural vote on the issue of unemployment extensions, mainly because many lawmakers are stuck around the country due to the bad weather.

The Senate will vote on extending long-term unemployment insurance that affects about 1.3 million Americans.

"We have thousands of Marylanders and several hundred thousand Americans who lost their jobs through no fault of their own," said Sen. Barbara Mikulski.

Milkulski. Maybe if you Democrats had not put our Country and State in such a financial bind with your tax and spend policies, these people might still have jobs. As usual, make a mess and spend your way out of it to cause another.

Might as well give 'em money cuz they sure as heck aren't creating jobs.

Go NObama, go.

"We have thousands of Marylanders and several hundred thousand Americans who lost their jobs through no fault of their own," said Sen. Barbara Mikulski.

Well, that sums up about 10% of the unemployed... how about the other 90% that flat out gave up, and sits back and collects?

Worthless hag.

Babs, where's the money coming from?

If all we're doing is borrowing it (from whoever!), it'll cost much more than what the benefit will bring to the recipient!

Meanwhile, the recipients ongoing votes will have been bought at the expense of the working taxpayers.

If you say you represent the people of MD, you'll vote no on this one.....but since you are sponsoring it, we know what you're thinking....
