Md. GOP Gubernatorial Candidates Short On Funds

Maryland Republican candidates for governor don't have much money so far for their campaigns.

David Craig, Ron George and Charles Lollar have filed their campaign finance forms for the last year, as Wednesday's midnight filing deadline neared.

Craig, who reports having about $154,577, spent more money than he raised in the reporting period, which spans a year's time. Craig reported raising nearly $250,000 but spent about $296,000. The Harford County executive had a prior balance of about $200,700.

George reported having about $15,500. George raised about $130,160 but spent about $147,450.

Wish I could help but the competition has made charitable giving impossible.

Guess that's what happens in a totalitarian society.

Stupid Marylanders.
