The Quote Of The Decade

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government's reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America's debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that, 'the buck stops here.' Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better."

~ Senator Barack H. Obama, March 2006

He never fooled me. I'm way too smart to be fooled by someone who is nothing more than a ghetto hustler.

So, lets hear from a couple opf obama supporters so we can double over in laughter at their twisted rationalizations about why THIS time, with obama, it different. And please leave out "it's still Bush's fault" reasoning/excuse/delusion. Maybe a couple of them will finally admit that an inexperienced buffoon, bent on "fundamentally changing" the most powerful economic and military entity to have ever existed, has done exactly what he said. Unemploymnent at 7.5-8% for 5 straight years with no end in sight, a credit rating worthy of a failing corporation, a tired and worn out military stretched so thin that mention of another war incites mutinous reactions, and an international repution that generates mostly laughter from other world leaders.
Fundamental change. Just not the kind we hoped for. Now hurry up and get to your part time job.

I just cut and pasted that quote in an e-mail I sent to the White House. The cowards have on their web site that because of the gov't shutdown they can't answer phones etc. But e-mail still works!
