UPDATE ON THE SHOOTING IN PRINCESS ANNE: Less than four days of the incident occurring, Princess Anne Police Officers identified and have made an arrest in the shooting that occurred on Somerset Avenue early Sunday morning. On 9-25-13, the Princess Anne Police Department arrested Tyshon Gabriel Hobson Sr., 26, of Princess Anne Maryland for attempted murder. Hobson Sr. was charged with attempted first and second degree murder, first and second degree assault, reckless endangerment, and related firearm violations. Hobson Sr. was seen by a District Court Commissioner who issued no bond and he was released into the custody of the Somerset County Detention Center. The Princess Anne Police Department was assisted in this investigation by the following agencies: United States Attorney’s Office, United States Parole and Probation Pre-Trial Office, United States Marshall’s Office, Maryland State Police Princess Anne Barrack, Maryland Parole and Probation Office, Maryland State Police Gang Unit, Salisbury Police Department, Somerset County Narcotics Task Force, Wicomico County Narcotics Task Force, Somerset County Sheriff’s Office, and the UMES Police Department.
