Lower Shore Health Connection

Wicomico County Health Department

A public hotline has been established to help residents of Wicomico County apply for affordable health insurance options offered through the state health insurance exchange, Maryland Health Connection. That number is 855-445-5540. The local hotline is a convenient way for Lower Shore residents to get personal help with applying for health insurance options and financial assistance to make health care coverage plans affordable.

Was this done on a grant for "Heath care Navigators?"

You all do realize this is Obamacare, right?

This has been coming for 100 years...it is the socialist dream come true, and they have been trying forever to make it happen...now, more people than ever will be dependent on the government...control healthcare and you control the country. Virtually everything you do impacts your health...what you eat, drink, how you behave what you drive, how you drive and (God forbid, they don't want armed citizens) how many guns you have. So now they can regulate everything so you have less of an impact on the healthcare system...Enjoy it you Obama supporters--you asked for it, now you will pay the price!

It looks like Financial Assistance are the key words here. You will STILL have to pay something and if plan A is free but does not cover your medications, you look at plan B which may cover some but not all, see the price you have to pay and decide which meds you can live without because your food stamps have just been decreased to help pay for this coverage. Plan C may be just what you want but, can you afford your part of the coverage?

Since I can't afford food and rent, this is the last place I'd waste my time visiting. Oh, fine me for not going here. Yeahright.
