GOVERNOR O’MALLEY TO HONOR EL SALVADORAN AMERICANS AT INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

ANNAPOLIS, MD (September 13, 2013) -- TODAY, September 13, Governor Martin O’Malley will honor Maryland’s El Salvador community and the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month at the Embassy of the Republic of El Salvador’s Independence Celebration. The Governor will be joined by Ambassador of El Salvador to the U.S. Ruben Zamora and other elected officials.
WHEN: Friday, September 13, at 7:00 p.m.
WHERE: Embassy of the Republic of El Salvador, 1400 16th Street, NW Washington, DC
In Maryland, our diversity is our greatest strength, and no small part of that diversity is the 124,000 Salvadoran Americans living in Maryland. We recognize that inclusion, diversity, equal rights and an open society make our State a more innovative and creative place for business and job creation. Together, we can work to expand opportunity so that our increasingly diverse middle class can compete and win in the 21st century economy.

Be neato if he ran for President of El Salvador!
Their economy's on the verge of collapse, but I'm sure he can tax them out of it.
