Georgetown Man Arrested In Harbeson Farm Theft

Location: 20000 block of Beaver Dam Road, Harbeson, DE

Dates of Occurrence: August 30, 2013 and September 10, 2013

Victim: 75 year old male

Suspect:
Robert L. Storms Jr., 22, Georgetown, DE (Photo Attached)
Burglary 3rd (2 counts)
Possession of Burglar Tools
Theft under $1,500 and victim over 62 (2 counts)
Criminal Mischief
Criminal Trespass 3rd (2 counts)

Arraigned at JP2 and released on $10,700.00 unsecured bond.

Harbeson, DE- The Delaware State Police have arrested a Georgetown man in connection with a farm equipment theft that occurred in the Harbeson area.

Numerous tips through media outlets and Crime Stoppers assisted with the identification and arrest of Robert L. Storms Jr. Detectives arrested Storms on Friday afternoon and processed him on the above listed charges. He was arraigned at JP2 and released on $10,700.00 unsecured bond.

Sometime in the early morning hours of August 30th and September 10th, a Storms drove a vehicle through a bean field in the 20000 block of Beaver Dam Road near Harbeson and removed batteries from a tractor and forklift used in the operation of the farm. Storms also cut a lock off a gas pump and removed approximately 15 gallons of gasoline.
