Dear Miley; Pastor Writes Letter Of Love Following Teen's Controversial Performance

MEMPHIS, TN - (WMC-TV) - By now, many of you have seen or heard about Miley Cyrus' memorable (for lack of a better term) performance on 2013 MTV Video Music Awards Sunday night. Two days after an overwhelmingly negative response, a Memphis pastor wrote an open letter of love to the former Disney Channel star. That letter is going viral.

In the letter, Pastor Jarrid Wilson sympathized with the teen idol.
"I'm not going throw any scripture at you. I'm not going to tell you how wrong you are. And I'm not going to tell you that you need Jesus. Why? Because frankly, I think you already know all of these things."

He obviously has never seen rap videos. He has nothing to compare her performance to.It's only shocking to him because everyone brought it to his attention.

Nevertheless, Miley needs to hear what people are saying. She has bought all the stereotyping of young women in todays society and is using her sexuality as a weapon. This is often referred to as "being uncomfortable in your own skin." It is clear to me that she is not at peace and needs all this attention to validate herself. Her skills are lacking so she falls back on sexuality to promote herself. What many of these young women face is depression and anxiety because this eventually must end and she already knows that it will. What is the next stunt she can pull before her commercial property (her body) fails her. Look at every past sex siren in history and there is a tragic end. Very few young women are secure enough in their self image to pull off a great success in the public eye without the help of a support system (solid family) which Miley sadly does not have.

Miley is white trash and a thug/tramp/wannabe. She should be banned from TV and country music forever. I will never buy anything from her again.

So will this be her 15 minutes,or will it last? My guess is that an entire rebellious generation is loving every minute of it.Look for more Miley videos and raunchier Miley videos.Controversy sells like hotcakes.

Maybe she should just go right in to the porn industry. This video certainly shows she wants to, and has no other talents THAT SHE WISHES TO EXPRESS. If she has other talents, which I would think Disney would have taught her, she may want to try using those, instead of acting like White Trash.
